The good thing about having a 3 day weekend is the fact that sleeping is not a stress…
Instead of worrying about having to get up and do homework you can just push it off until Monday.
Or Tuesday morning.
Sister Johnson is once again my best friend for cancelling my first class on Tuesday.
So yesterday morning I slept in until 10:30ish and did no homework.
I got in the shower and watched a movie that made me cry like Niagara falls.
But that’s completely besides the point.
When Emma got home from her daily gym moment she broke the bad news….
The night before when she was trying to get something out of the fridge my jam fell out.
My beloved raspberry jam.
*Splat*
My jam was suddenly lying on the floor.
Oh Emma.
Good punch.
Good thing she took a picture for me.
So last night slash yesterday it was mentioned that we were going to go on a fantastic adventure.
This adventure included swim suits and tin foil dinners.
We were so excited that as soon as we woke up we got into our swim suits.
We also ate queso.
At the same time.
We like dancing around in our bathing wear and eating chips and queso.
Don’t judge.
We are currently having an obsession with chips and queso.
Yep.
We needed a few things for the tin foil dinners so Michelle and Jake headed to the store.
Me and Andrew headed back to MP to cut up the watermelon.
Emma and Sterling headed to Big 5 to purchase a swimming suit.
Our tin foil dinners consisted of hamburgers, potatoes, carrots and onions.
We all piled in the 2 cars and headed out.
GREEN CANYON HOT SPRINGS HERE WE COME!
It was about a 35 minute drive.
I don’t give Idaho enough credit.
It’s beautiful.
Driving up through the hills where the land just goes on forever and ever.
It’s fantastic.
We got there, piled out of the car, the boys started the fire, and we headed to the pool.
We swam in the hot springs until right before it closed.
Our adventures were [mostly] full of being dunked and attempting not to be dunked.
We were there for 4 hours.
That’s a lot of swimming.
Today we woke up.
I didn’t think it was possible.
We were all exhausted.
Church was good.
We came home and made dinner.
Correction.
I made dinner.
Jake fixed it.
Now we’re sitting around our living room eating the 2 batches of homemade Oreo’s which have been made with love.

We may or may not be healthy college students.

And cake mix.
And powdered sugar.
And cream cheese.
And eggs.
